WebCPA: Tax Protest

A coalition is pushing back against 2006 tax law changes that increased the burden on expatriate Americans (U.S. citizens earning income outside the U.S.). The underlying issue is non-competitiveness of a particular part of the U.S. tax code. Whether this remains a narrowly focused initiative or expands into a broader movement remains to be seen.
